Paul Rand of Creative Graphic Design has gotten a $3 million bonus from his employer, Adobe, after becoming the first designer to receive the $4 million.
Rand, who was hired in December 2016, was among several people named in a Federal Election Commission complaint that was unsealed Friday, detailing a $2.6 million “incentive award” given to designers who design Trump campaign graphics.
The complaint names Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller, Trump adviser and former campaign CEO Paul Manafort, and the Trump campaign and its media arm, Trump News, as defendants.
In a statement, Adobe said: “As part of our efforts to attract and retain the best people in the industry, Adobe is proud to be a part of Paul Rand’s success.
Rand, a former vice president of the United States Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement that he has been a supporter of President Donald Trump since the Republican’s inauguration. “
In addition, this award was made possible by the Federal Election Commissions Office of Inspector General’s determination that Paul Rand violated the Federal Communications Commission’s prohibition on soliciting advertising during election periods by soliciting the services of his former employer, Paul Rand Associates.”
Rand, a former vice president of the United States Chamber of Commerce, said in a statement that he has been a supporter of President Donald Trump since the Republican’s inauguration.
He is also the founder of the Campaigns for Freedom Foundation, which has funded a number of conservative groups during the 2016 presidential election cycle, including the National Rifle Association, the American Center for Law and Justice, and FreedomWorks.
He and his company have previously been accused of having ties to Russian oligarchs, as well as by the FBI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and various state and local governments.
Paul Rand is a designer who has been featured in a number, including The New York Times, CNN, Time magazine, CNNMoney, CNBC, and Yahoo!
News.
Rand’s firm, Rand Rand Design Group, is a creative agency with offices in New York, New York City, and Los Angeles.
It also offers design and design consulting services.
A statement from Rand’s company, Rand Design Associates, said that the award was an honor given to a talented artist who was named a member of the IG’s Advisory Committee for the Design Industry.
“As a proud member of IG’s Design Industry Advisory Committee, Paul has been instrumental in our continued growth,” the statement said.
“This award reflects the tremendous expertise and expertise we have provided to help clients create better and more engaging graphic design for clients and the general public.”
Rand was one of two designers named in the IG complaint, along with former Trump campaign communications director, Hope Hicks, and communications director Mike Dubke.
The other designer was a freelance graphic designer.
The IG complaint was unseated Friday.
Miller has denied wrongdoing, and Manafort has denied any wrongdoing.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
