Graphic designer Tim Caulfield, who has worked in the retail industry for more than 20 years, said the digital design business is about the bottom line.
“The bottom line of my business is if I can get a logo onto a shelf and sell it in a store, then I have a revenue stream that’s more sustainable than my retail business,” he said.5.
The process of designing a graphic design portfolio is relatively straightforward.
The best graphic designers can draw and design an image, and then draw and print it out.

I’m a visual designer, and my work is designed with color, texture, and detail in mind.”10.

There’s a lot that goes into creating a digital graphic, said Caulfields colleague and digital graphic designer, Kristin M. Peltzer.
They can be highly motivated and have a clear vision.
There is a huge market for the kind of design they do, Peltz said.

It can be a challenging industry, she said, but it is a very rewarding one.11.
