Google’s cool text blog has just launched a new, modern, cool design template.
The template is designed by the world-renowned digital illustrator Paul Rand and it’s available on the blog’s site.
Rand’s template is a mash-up of traditional font styles and colors.
You can check out the original template, or you can customize it to your liking.
Here are a few of the highlights.
The font is designed with modern font weights like sans-serif, italic, sans-monospace, serif and sans-latin, which are also standard fonts on the Google+ platform.
You’ll see italics, bold, underline, underlined, understretch, and the wordmark all in a bold, solid, solid-colored style.
You also can choose from six different font styles: monospace, sans serif, seriff, monospace sans- serif sans- latin, sans monospace italic.
Google also added a new font option for text boxes, which can be set to a bold black or a lighter gray.
The new cool design also has two new backgrounds for text, a solid black and a lighter grey.
In addition to the cool design templates, Google also launched a Chrome extension for the cool text app, which lets you customize the font, colors and spacing of text boxes.
It’s available for download here.
